Xbox Wireless Controller Available on Apple Store but No Sign of DualShock 4

Apple store now has Microsoft’s Xbox controller on the online store where you can purchase it. You can use these gamepads with your latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV after the latest update from Apple. The support was added for the Xbox controllers and PlayStation control in the latest iOS 13, tvOS 13, macOS 10.15 Cataline, iPadOS.

MacRumors spotted the controllers on the Apple Store which was price at $59.95. You can now buy it from Apple’s website as it is available in stock. While it is not clear when Sony’s Dualshock 4 will appear on the Apple website. It is the first time when Apply is selling the gaming controller from Sony or Microsoft according to the report.

It started supporting the Xbox and PlayStation controller in the latest iOS update where you can use it on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. While iOS 13, iPad 13, and tvOS 13 were released in September but macOS version is just released which provides the support of these controllers.

Just this week, the official support account for Apple on Twitter pointed towards a support page that shows how you can pair the controller with your iPhone, Apple TV, Mac, or iPad. It is also noted that the controller audio jack and some functions of the controller are not supported when you pair them with the Apple device.

There were some reports earlier in which it was mentioned that Apple was planning on bringing a mini Xbox which will just cost about $60 and support Project xCloud.

Project xCLoud is a new development from Apple in which they will provide game streaming technology which will give competition to the console hardware of Microsoft and gamers will have more choice. It was introduced in October 2018 and might take some time to launch in the market.
