The story follows the journey of the Geralt of Riviea who is a professional monster hunter is struggling in a place ruled by corrupt kings, queens, where poverty and injustice are rampant and humans can be eviler than the monsters.
The season 2 of the series picks up exactly where the first ended that is after Geralt and Ciri finally met the season finale had featured the Battle of Sodden Hill where Yennefer launcher an offensive attack of her magical powers against invading army.
For season 2 we’ll be seeing Gerald training Ciri in her magical powers and the status of Yennefer is still unclear but we hope to see her back soon. Based on few fan sites it also seem that there will be wild hunt this season, the Wild Hunt is the final enemies and the readers of the books must be familiar with them.
Four family witchers will be joining this season first one is the old father figure of Gerald who taught him a lot while he was growing up others are Eskel, Sarcastic jerk witcher and the sword trainer of Ciri Coën.
