Ginny & Georgia Season 2 is set to start shooting in November. But, fans have been waiting to hear about any updates regarding the show’s upcoming season and now they have. Netflix has already extended the season in April. Additionally, fans are likely to be treated with behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The show’s producer Sarah Lampert announced in an Instagram post that she’s going to Toronto within the next few weeks to begin the pre-production. We’re as excited as you. Has Netflix Renewed Ginny & Georgia Season 2?
Netflix has renewed Ginny & Georgia Season 2 back in April of this year. The show’s debut season began in February and was quite well. It also managed to draw a large number of viewers.
Two months after the premiere of the show’s first season the streaming service renewed the show for season 2. The show’s Creator Sarah Lampert said that she was extremely pleased with the reception the first season received. The video reads “We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for Season 2”.
Production Updates
The rumor mill suggests that Ginny and Georgia Season 2 will commence production on the 29th of November 2021. The filming is expected to last until April 8th, 2022. In the above paragraph, Sarah Lampert is heading to Toronto in the coming weeks. The filming process is set to begin with Blue Ice Pictures in Toronto. Additionally, Critical Content and Dynamic Television are also part of the process of production.
Release Date
Given the current production schedule in the process of making the show, it’s safe to think it is likely that Ginny & Georgia Season 2 will be available on Netflix at some point between mid and the latter part of 2022.
